September 1 (Friday): Stefan and Heather teach Fundamental s of Cross Step Waltz and Cross Step Waltz Mixer and they will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. September 2 (Saturday): Movable Feet's Fifth Annual Summer Camps Review at a different venue, All Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverly Street, Palo Alto with warm-ups at 1:45 P.M., workshop MC'd by Loui Tucker from 2:00 5o 5:30 P.M., a potluck dinner from 5:45 to 6:30 P.M. and a review and requests tom 6:30 to 8:00 P.M..

September 2 - 4 (Saturday - Monday): Belmont Greek Festival at Holy Cross Church, 800 Alameda de Las Pulgas, at Ralston Avenue, Belmont. Admission is $5.00 general, Seniors and Youth (15-17) $2.50 and children 12 and under are free with adult. For more information call (650) 591-4447.

September 5 (Tuesdays): Beginning and intermediate folk dance classes taught by Marilyn Smith begin today with beginners at the Person Senior Wing of Finley Center, 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa frp, 5:15 to 6:15 P.M. and intermediates meet at Monroe Hall, 1400 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. September 6 (Wednesdays): Folk Dance classes begin today at the College of Marin, PE #22, Kentfield Campus, taught by Carol Friedman from 2:10 to 1:30 P.M. September 7 (Thursday): True Life Trio sings with Teddy Raven at the Yerba Gardens Festival, 701 Mission (between Third and Fourth Streets), San Francisco at 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. This is part of their lunchtime concert series and admission is free.

September 8 (Friday): Mosaic plays for the Stanford International Folk Dancers at a new venue, All Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverley Street, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00.

September 8 (Friday): Richard Powers will teach and DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. September 15 (Friday): Stanford International Folk Dancers will meet at a new venue, Bethany Lutheran Church, 1095 Cloud Avenue, Menlo Park from 7:30 to 10:00 P.M. Katherine Abbott will be teaching international dances. Admission is $5.00.

September 15 - 16 (Friday & Saturday): Cupertino Armenian Festival, St. Andrew Armenian Church, 11370 South Sterling Street, Cupertino.

September 16 (Saturday): Carnival of Cultures at Baylands Park, 999 East Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Ripni Kalenki will be performing. Admission and parking are free. For more information click here.

September 17 (Sunday): The Balkan Dance Cabal presents a Dance Party with Edessa preceded by a Balkan dance lesson by Nadav Nur at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley with the lesson at 7:30 P.M. and the live music starts at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00.

September 17 (Sunday): Niffskogpols workshop with Sarah on Fiddle taught by Fred and Toby at Hillside Church, 1422 Nacellier, El Cerrito with the workshop from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M., a potluck from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. and dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. September 30 (Saturday): Depth Charge presents "A Balkan Frolic-Party" with Mano Cherga and Alex Hand Band at El Rio, 3158 Mission Street, San Francisco with the doors opening at 9:00 P.M. and the show starts at 10:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00. You must be 21+.
