September 1 (Tuesday): Razzmatazz Folk Dance Club sponsors a 15-week Intermediate Balkan Folk Dance class at Monroe hall, 1400 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Cost for the 15-weeks is $60.00. Classes taught by Marilyn Smith. For more information and to register click here.

September 4 (Friday): Richard Powers, Mirage Marrou, Nick Enge and Melissa Carvell will tag=team teach Cross-step Waltz variations and Night Club Two-step variations and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, Richard will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. September 5 (Saturday): Lebanese Festival at 2200 Broadway, Redwood City from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

September 5 - 7 (Saturday - Monday): Belmont Greek Festival at Holy Cross Church, 800 Alameda de Las Pulgas, at Ralston Avenue, Belmont. Admission is $5.00 general, Seniors and Youth (15-17) $2.50 and children 12 and under are free with adult. For more information call (650) 591-4447.

September 9 - October 21 (Wednesdays): College of Marin Community Educations class begins teaching Eastern European folk dances at Village Square #6 at the Kentfield campus from 2:10 to 3:30 P.M. September 11 (Friday): DUE TO FLOOR REFINISHING, TONIGHTS PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED!! REGULAR SCHEDULE RESUMES NEXT WEEK. The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a dance workshop Gary Breitbard and Jena Rauti teachin French dances to live music by The Bruno Band at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. September 12 (Saturday): Peninsula Council Folk Dance Party with advanced dance pre-party workshop with Adony Deniares and Lon Radin teaching Te Joci cu Focul (Romania) followed by an all-request dance party, MC'd by Holis Radin at All Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverly Street, Palo Alto with the workshop from 7L15 to 8:00 P.M. and the party from 8:00 to 10:45 P.M. September 13 (Sunday): Janam and Vadalma play music for listening and dancing at Open Door, 6226 Arlington Blvd, Richmond with a potluck at 5:00 P.M. and the music starts at 6:00 P.M. All donations go to the artists.

September 13 (Sunday): Sacred Circle dancing at Hillside Community Church 1422 Navallier Street, El Cerrito with a Potuluck at 6:00 P.M. and the dancing starts at 7:00 P.M. Admission is $5.00 to $10.00 on a sliding scale.

September 13 (Sunday): Da! Mozhem and the Nema Problema Chorale will be at the Solano Stroll, in front of Noah's Bagels, 1883 Solano Avenue, between Fresno and Alameda from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Admission is free.

September 14 (Mondays): Start of beginner's afternoon class sponsored by the Berkeley Folk Dancers at Live Oak Social Hall, 1301 Shattuck, at Berryman, Berkeley from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Admission is free to Berkeley Folk Dancers members and $5.00 for all others. Pay for the first class and get the second one free.

September 14 (Mondays): Start of Petaluma Folk Dancing at Herman Sons Hall, 860 Western Avenue, Petaluma from 7;00 to 9:15 P.M. Cost is $65.00 for the 14-week session or $7.00 drop-in. For more information contact Carol Friedman.
