November 6 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a dance workshop with Lew Smith and Melissa MIller teaching Macedonian and Bulgarian dances at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. November 6 (Friday): Stanford Fall Ball with live music by the Royal Society Rhythm Aces in association with the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. November 6 (Friday): Tanya Kostova and Antika Bulgarian Folk Ensemble invite you to a concert, dance party and masqurade at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco at 7:00 P.M. November 7 & 8 (Saturday & Sunday): Yiddish Cultural Festival at the Jewish Community Center of the East Bay, 1414 Walnut Street, Berkeley with peformances, music, dancing, singing etc, on Saturday from 7:30 to 10:00 P.M. and workshops and a party with Vereski Pass band and Bruce Bierman leading dances from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. November 8 (Sunday): Bosnian Sevdah and Dance at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco at 2:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 and children are free.

November 8 (Sunday): Sayat Nvaq Ensemble and Lily Storm to perfrom at Open Door Methodist Church, 6226 Arlington Blvd., Richmond with an informal potluck at 5:00 P.M. and the performance at 6:00 P.M. November 14 (Saturday): Peninsula Folk Dance Council Folk Dance Party at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with a pre-party workshop with Ann Kleinman teaching two dances from Stockton from 7:15 to 8:00 P.M. and an all-request party mc'd my Becky Beniares from 8:00 to 10:45 P.M. November 21 (Saturday): Kick-off Kolo dance party with Katherine Abbott teaching Cloful from Romania and Howard Young teaching Ripna Maca from Bulgaria and Zabava! playing Bulgarian, Macedonian and Greek dances at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 555 Waverley Street, Palo Alto from 6:45 to 11:00 P.M. November 23 (Monday): GreekFeet hosts a Greek Dance Workshop by Yanni Konstantinou at Joe Goode Annex, Project Artaud, 401 Alabama Street, at 17th Street, San Francisco from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M. Admission is $20.00. For more information contact Mary Ann Karonis.

November 25 (Wednesday): Gogol Bordello, Gypsy Punks and underdog World Strike play at the Warfield in San Francisco at 8:00 P.M.

November 27 & 28 (Friday & Saturday): San Francisco Kolo Festival at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco.

November 28 (Saturday): Istanbul Connection play Balkan and Latin music for listening and dancing at Red Poppy Art House, 2698 Folsom Street, San Francisco at 7:30 P.M. Admission is $15.00 to $20.00 on a sliding scale. For more information contact Red Poppy Art House.

November 29 (Sunday): Yanni Konstantinou (Greek) and Ahmet Luleci (Turkish) and possibly Strfka Kamburova (Romani) teach a dance workshop followed by a dance party with music provided by Edessa with Rumen and Mezes and snacks at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley From 1:00 to 7:00 P.M.
