November 1 & 2 (Saturday & Sunday): Klez California Yiddish Culture Festival with music by Joel Rubin and Veretski Pass, Saul Goodman's Kelzmer Band, Festival Dance Band and more with dances led by Bruce Bierman at the Oshman Family JCC, Palo Alto. November 1 (Saturday): Inspector Gadje play Balkan music and Daniel Fries plays Flamenco music for listening and dancing at the Boom Boom Room, 1601 Filmore Street, San Francisco from 9:30 P.M. to 3:00 A.M. Admission is $20.00 in Advance.

November 1 (Saturday): Rini Kalinke celebrates their fourth birthday with a performance at San Jose Masonic Center, 2500 Masonioc Drive, San Jose at 6:00 P.M. Admission is free and a suggested donation is $10.00. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

November 5 (Wednesday): Balkan dancing to recorded music, 1970's style, at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley with a lesson at 7:00 and dancing starting at 8:30 P.M. Admission is $7.00.  For more information call (510) 501-3307, or visit http://www.ashkenaz.com.

November 7 (Friday): Jubilee Klezmer Band plays for a dance concert at the Ukrainian Festival in Sonoma.

November 7 (Friday): The Stanford Fall Ball with dance performances, live music by the Rolyal Society Rhythm Aces and Richard will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. November 8 (Saturday): True Life Trio and Gari Hegedus perform: "Like Never and Like Always - A Memory Project" at Rose Labyrinth, 2138 Cedar Street, Berkeley at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 to 30.00 online or $20.00 to $35.00 at the door.

November 8 (Saturday): Israeli folk dance party at Cafe Shalom, St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Bowcock Hall, 1399 - 43rd Avenue, at Judah, San Francisco from 7:30 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. November 9 (Sunday): Bosnian Sevdah and Dance at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco at 2:00 P.M.

November 9 (Sunday): Learn Roropols, a Norwegian couple dance, taught by Frank and Jant Tripi, followed by all-request folk dancing at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. The workshop is free and the party is $7.00. For more information contact Hollis.

November 10 (Monday): The Helledelics play mostly Greek music for a dance party at GreekFeet Dancers, Joe Goode Annex, Project Artaud, Alabama Street, at 17th Street, San Francisco at 7:30 P.M. Admission is $10.00. Bring a snack to share. For more information contact Maryann Karonis.

November 14 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal present an evening of music for listening and dancing by Orchestra Euphonos, Agapi Mou and the Plovdiv Party Buss at the Starry Plough,3101 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley starting at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale at the door.

November 15 (Saturday): Folk Dance Federation of California present the annual Officer's Ball "Anythings Goes!; A Cornucopia of Dances" at Livermore Veteran's Memorial Hall, 522 S. L Street, Livermore. Admission is $35.00. For more information and, to register, contact Lucy Chang or Loui Tucker.

Novermber 28 & 29 (Friday & Saturday): 63rd Annual Kolo Festival at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco. Steve Kotansky and Ahmet Luleci will teach dancing, maria Bebelekova, John Morovich, Michele Simon and Corinne Sykes will teach singing and the bands are Trio Zulum, Zabava!, Black Sea Surf and the 2014 Kolo Festival Band.
