November 1 (Friday): Tom teaches Night Club Two Step nd intermediate salsa and Tom Hill teaches introductory waltz also Anthony will dj waltzes and polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. November 2 (Saturday): Oud masters Haig Manoukia and Munir Nurettin Beken join Paaedon Sinis in presenting a concert of instrumental Ottoman music at Viracocha, 998 Valencia Street, at 21st Street, San Francisco at 8;00 P.M. November 9 (Saturday): Kafana Balkan Present The Balkan Music, Belly Dance Blow Out featuring Inspector Gadje, Jill Parker and the Foxglove Sweethearts belly dancers and Balkan DJ Zeliko at Balencoire, 2565 Mission Street, San Francisco from 9:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. November 10 (Sunday): Beyond the Borders: Bosnian Sevdah and Dance at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga Avenue, at Alemany, San Francisco with the doors opening at 1:00 P.M., the program starts a 2:00 P.M. and the live music goes from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. November 12 (Tuesday): An evening of Swedish music and dance with Marin/Marin, who will play Sweedish fiddle music for listening and dancing, at Swedish American Hall, 2174 Market Street, San Francisco at 7:00 P,M. November 14 (Thursday): Stellarmara, featuring Rkufus Cappadocia,Tobias Roberson and Dan Cantrell, play music for listening and dancing at ClouD9 at 7:30 P.M. Admission is $12.00 to $20.00.

November 15 (Friday): Da! Mozhem play music for dancing and the Nema Problema Chorale will sing for the Stanford Folk Dancers

November 15 (Friday): Rae Marnham, from Australia, will teach two Bulgarian dances, Zensko Vodeno and Povlekana, from Dobrudza for the Kopachka Folk Dancers, at Scout Hall, 177 East Blythdale Avenue, Mill Valley from 8:30 to 10:30 P.M. November 21 (Thursday): The Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal present music for listening and dancing from three bands, Dan Cantrell's Odd Jobs Conspiracy, Mano Cherga, and Plovdiv Party Bus at the starry Plough, 3101 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is from $8:00 to $12.00 on a sliding scale.

November 22 (friday): Zabava! play music for dancing for the Cabrillo Folk Dancers at Cabrillo College, Gym Building 1117, Aptos from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 plus tips for the musicians. Bring snacks to share. Parking is free.

November 29 & 30 (Friday & Saturday): Sixty-second San Francisco Kolo Festival, featuring workshops by Yves and France Moreau, Lee Otterholt and Jerry Duke, and music by Da!
