November 2 (Friday): Macedonian singer-dancer, Dragi Spasovski and Balkan Band The Mehanatones along with the new Balkan BandBlack Sea Surf,present an evening of traditional Macedonian song and dance at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco with a dance lesson at 7:30 P.M. and the music starts at 8:30 P.M. Ethnic food will be available. For more information contact John Daley.

November 2 (Friday): Brass Menazeri and Go Van Gogh to play music for listening and dancing at Awaken Cafe, 1429 Broadway, Oakland with Go Van Gogh at 8:00 P.M. and Brass Menazeri at 9:00 P.M. Admission is free.

November 2 (Friday): Live Greek music, featuring Artemis Gaitanou, for listening and dancing at Luke's Grill, 1509 E. 14th Street, San Leandro at 7:00 P.M.

November 3 (Saturday): The Federation Officer's Ball ("Hooked on Classics") at the Veteran's Memorial Hall, 522 South "L" Street, Livermore. Admission is $25.00 if paid before October 26 or $30.00 at the door. There will be a 50/50 drawing and a photo booth. November 3 (Saturday): The Mehanatones with Dragi Spasevski and Black Sea Surf play Bulgarian, Greek, Macedonian, Roma, and Turkish music for listening and dancing at Live Oak Grange, 1900 - 17th Street, Santa Cruz from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. This event is sponsored by the Cabrillo College Folk Dancers. Admission is $12.00 General and $10.00 for students and seniors. November 4 (Sunday): Antika Bulgaria Culture Club celebrate the Bulgarian National Revival Day: first with Dessy Dobreva and the Bay Area Bulgaria's Kids event at the Bulgarian Art School, Martenichki, at 10837 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito at 5:30 P.M. Admission is $15.00 - $20.00 per adult; and second, an evening concert with Dessy Dobreva and Antika and Friends at 1422 Navellier Street, El Cerrito at 7:30 P.M. November 7 (Wednesday): Agapi Mou plays Greek folk music for a Mountain View House Concert at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 - $20.00 and all proceeds go to the artists. Reservations are required. November 9 (Friday): True Life Trio release their new CD and play music for listening and dancing at Red Poppy Art House, 2698 Folsom Street, San Francisco at 7:30 P.M. Admission is $12.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale.

November 10 (Saturday): True Life Trio release their new CD and play music for listening and dancing at Garden Gate Creativity Center, 2911 Claremont Avenue, Berkeley at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale.

November 10 (Saturday): Note From Now On Second Saturday: Israeli folk dance party at Cafe Shalom, St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Bowcock Hall, 1399 - 43rd Avenue, at Judah, San Francisco from 7:30 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. November 11 (Sunday): Balkan Mayhem Dance Party with live music by MWE and DJ Zeljko at Bissap Baobab Village, 3372 - 19th Street, San Francisco at 9:30 P.M. Admission is $8.00 at the door.

November 15 (Thursday): The Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal featuring the Bands: Janam (11:00 P.M.), Disciples of Markso (10:00 P.M.), and Danubius (9:00 P.M.) at The Starry Plough, 3101 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley. Admission is from $8.00 to $12.00 on a sliding scale.

November 16 (Friday): Krystalli Papadopoulos with musicians Hecton Bezanis and Michael Garibaldi provide a Greek dance workshop and live music party for the Stanford International Folk Dancers at First Baptist Church, 305 North California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 and $5.00 for students plus tips for the musicians. There will be a snack table and contributions are welcome. For more information call Owen at (650) 966-1775.

November 23 & 24 (Friday & Saturday): 61st San Francisco Kolo Festival at the Wellness Center, City College of San Francisco, 50 Phelan Avenue, at Ocean, San Francisco. Dance classes taught by zeliko Jergan, JOhn Filcich, Jerry Duke, Sue Willard, Davida Munkres, Todd Eagner. Dancing to two bands from 8:00 P.M. to Midnight. Parking is free. November 24 (Saturday): Agapi Mou plays music for a tea and concert at Porto Franco Art Parlor, 953 Valencia Street, Second Floor, no elevetor, San Francisco from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. All ages are welcome.

November 25 (Sunday): A memorial service for Oscar Faoro at VFW Hall, 905 Drever Street, West Sacramento at 2;00 P.M.

November 28 (Wednesday): Balkan Folk Dance to recorded music 70's style at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley with a lesson at 7:00 P.M. and the music starts at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $7.00 at the Door.

November 29 (Thursday): Hardly Strictly Kezmer Chanukah Kickoff featuring the bands: Charming Hostess, Kugelplex, and Red Hot Chachkas at Freight and Salvage, 2020 addison Street, Berkeley at 8:00 P.M. This is part of the East Bay's Jewish Music Festival.
