November 6 (Saturday): International Folk Dance Party at the City College of San Francisco Wellness Center, room 301, 50 Phelan, at Ocean, San Francisco at 3:00 P.M. with a sequence dance lesson from 2:15 to 3:00 P.M. November 12 (Friday): Brass Menazeri and The Indigo's "Serpent Rouge" perform at the Great American Music Hall, 859 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco at 9:00 P.M.

November 12 (Friday): Anthony Catchatoorian on Bouzouki and Paul Psarras ton Guitar and Vocals play Greek music for listening and dancing at Tannourine Restaurant, 120 West 25th Avenue, San Mateo from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. November 13 (Saturday): Veretski Pass play Klezmer music, with dance leading by Bruce Bierman, at the Subterranean Arthouse, 2179 Bancroft Way, Berkeley at 8:30 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to 20.00.

November 13 (Saturday): Slavic Soul Party! at the Swedish American Hall, San Francisco.

November 19 (Friday): Orkestar Sali (minus Rumen "Sali" Shopov) will play Bulgarian and Roma music for dancing at Cabrillo College, Gym building room 1117, Aptos with the doors opening a 7:30 P.M. and the music starts at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 plus $5.00 for the tip basket. Bring snacks to share (nothing requiring plates or utensils). Parking is free. For more information sendemail to

November 20 (Saturday): Marcel Vinokur's November dance party with live music by Vecernica at Burgess Recreation Center, 700 Alma Street, Menlo Park from 8:00 P.M. to Midnight. November 21 (Sunday): Third Sunday advanced Balkan dance class with Davida Munkres teachin Sopsko Petrunino and Ceresko Horo and perhaps another at the Back Studio at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley at 2:00 P.M (enter throuogh the left hand door). November 26 & 27 (Friday & Sunday): San Francisco Kolo Festival featuring teaching by Ahmet Luleci, Yuliyan Yordanov, John Filchich and singing by Eva Salina Primack and Tanya Yarimezovi and live music by Agapi Mou, Helladelics, Trio Zulum, and Miamon Miller, mark Forry, Bill Cope and Friends.
