May 2 (Sunday): Detski Panari/Children's Faire, sponsored by Tanya Kostova, at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. May 2 (Sunday): Rumen Shopov to play Balkan music for dancing with Catherine Sutton leading the dances at the annual Albany Arts and Green Festival at Memorial Park, Portland Avenue and Carmel in Albany at 1:30 P.M. May 30 (Sunday): A celebration of May 24, the day of Bulgarian Culture, Education and patron saines Kiril and Metodi at Newhall Park, Concord starting at 1:00 P.M. Live music and Bulgarian food will be available, and you are welcome to donate food or drink. Lunch is $12.00, alcoholic drinks are $3.00 and non-alcoholic drinks are $1.00. This is a benefit for the reconstruction of the Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church in Danville. For more information visit the church's website.
