March 1 (Sunday): Tanya Kostova hosts a Bulgarian Baba Marta celebration at 1120 Arlington Blvd, El Cerrito from 11:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. There will be live music and a potluck lunch. March 6 (Friday): Balkanton 340 will play Bulgarinan village music for the Stanford Folk Dancers at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1095 Cloud Avenue, Menlo Park from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. March 6 (Friday): Stefan Warmuth teaches Introductory dance class and Vincent and Haiwen will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto with the classes starting at 7:15 P.M. and the dancing is from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $20.00 for both classes and the dance, $20.00 for the dance only and $10.00 for students. Evening attire appreciated. NOTE CHANGE IN PRICES AND TIME. No partner necessary. March 14 (Saturday): The Peninsula Folk Dance Council and the Folk Dance Federation of California host a Heritage Festival with Institute by Roo Lester at Twin Pines Community Center, Belmont with the Institiute at 2:00 P.M., a dinner break from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. and dance party from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M. March 28 (Saturday): Peninsula Folk Dance Council hosts a Virtual Folk Dance Party from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Pacific Time. We will connect over the internet, dance in our homes, submit requests and listen and dance to our favourite dances. The details are being worked out by the creators: Adony and Becky Benaires.
