March 2 (Friday): Stanford Folk Dancers host a Bulgarian dance party with music by Balkanton 340 band at Shoup Park, 400 University Avenue, Los Altos from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00 general and $6.00 for students. Snacks and drinks plus tips for the musicians are welcome. For more information call Owen at (650) 966-1775.

March 3 (Friday): Richard Powers will present Movie Music Night with Mirage Marrou Greene and he will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto with the classes starting at 7:15 P.M. and the dancing is from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $10.00 for the dance only and $10.00 for students. NOTE CHANGE IN PRICES AND TIME. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. March 3 (Saturday): Razzmatazz Red and Black Ball, featuring singing by Gradina and music by Druzhina, at Monroe Hall, 1400 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M. admission is $5.00 plus tips for the musicians and singers. wear red and black and bring some snacks to share. March 3 (Saturday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal with music by Orchestra Euphonos with Ionela Guzic, Balkanton 340 and Mano Cherga at The Starry Plough, 3102 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $20.00 on a sliding scale at the door.

March 4 (Sunday): Israeli Oldies Dance Party, lead by Allen King, at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley from 1:30 to 5:30 P.M. Admission is $10.00 and dancers under 18 are free. For more information contact Allen King.

March 8 (Thursday): Ripni Kalinke host a dance workshop with Dr. Gergana Panova for International Women's Day at St. Francis Church, 1205 Pine Avenue, San Jose from 7:30 to 10:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 drop-in.

March 9 (Friday): Voice of Roma Festival featuring the Dzambo Agusevi Orchestra at the Starline Club, 2236 Martin Luther King Way, Oakland from 7:30 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door. There will be a panel discussion with artists, dance workshop and dance party. Food and drinks wil be available for purchase.
