March 1 (Sunday): Moveable Feet present at Scottish Dence Workshop at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 555 Waverly Street, Palo Alto from 1:30 to 5:30 P.M.

March 1 (Sunday): Alchymeia perform at the Monkey House, 1638 University Avenue, Berkeley from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. Admission is from $10.00 to $20.00.

March 5 (Thursday): Klezmatics play Klezmer music at the New Parish, 1743 San Pablo Avenue, Oakland at 8:00 P.M.

March 6 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a dance party featuring the music of Gary Brietband, Jena Rauti and the Bruno Band playing live French music at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 and for students $5.00. For more information contact Owen at (650) 966-1775.

March 6 (Friday): Monthly Hungarian tanchaz focusing on Mezosegi and Kalotaszegi at Hayward Area Senior Center, 22325 N. 3rd. Street, Castro Valley at 7:45. P.M. For more information visit their Facebook Page.

March 6 (Friday): Richard Powers will teach The Russian March and The Sway and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, Richard will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. March 8 (Sunday): Children's Celebration of Ethnic Dance at Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco, at 2:00 P.M.

March 9 (Monday): Agapi Mou to play Greek music for a Greek Feet Party at Joe Goode Annex, Project Artaud, 401 Alabama Street, San Francisco at 7:30 P.M. Admission is $10.00 and their CD's will be available for $10.00 each.

March 13 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a dance workshop with Lew Smith and Melissa Miller teaching Balkan dances at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00. For more information contact Owen at (650) 966-1775.

March 13 (Friday): Briget Boyle and Jeremiah Lockwood perform at the Monkey House, 1638 University Avenue, Berkeley from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. Admission is from $10.00 to $20.00.

March 13 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal with music by Fanfare Zambaleta and Disciples of Markos at The Starry Plough, 3102 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale at the door.

March 19 (Thursday): Da! Mozhem, with the Nema Problema Chorale, play Balkan music for dancing at the Hillside Club, 2286 Cedar Street, at Arch Street, Berkeley from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 and folks under 17 are free.

March 20 on (Friday): Kopachka Folk Dancers meet at their new venue: Strawberry Recreation Center, 118 E. Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. Guest teacher will be Sue Willard. Admission is $5.00.

March 21 (Saturday): Razzmatazz Red and Black Ball folk dance party at Monroe Hall, 1400 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. Dance to Balkan singing group Gradina and to recorded music. Admission is $5.00 and children are free. Wear something red and black and bring snacks to share plus tips for the singers. for more information contact Marilyn Smith.

Narch 21 (Saturday): Peninsula Folk Dance Council Folk Dance Party at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with a pre-party workshop with Gary Breitbard and Jena Rauti teaching French Country Dances from 7:15 to 8:00 P.M. and an all-request party mc'd my Adpmu Beniares from 8:00 to 10:45 P.M. March 22 (Sunday): Jewish Music Festival Finale with Veretski Pass, and others, playing music for dancing with Steve Weintraub at the JCC East Bay, 1414 Walnut Street, Berkeley from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00 for students and JCCEB members and $15.00 General.

March 22 (Sunday): La Peche plays Balkan and Turkish music for listening and dancing at Cafe Refolution, 3248 - 22nd Street, San Francisco from 8:30 to 11:30 P.M.

March 22 (Sunday): Balkan Dance Cabal with recorded music and a possible jam session at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley qith a dance lesson by Nadav Nur and Jerry Duke at 7:30 P.M. and the music starts at 8:30 P.M. March 27 (Friday): Mirabai Derania will teach Argentine Tango followed by a performance by her group,Tango Vida, and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, Jason Anderson will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. March 28 (Saturday): The Advanced Balkan Dancers invite you to a Balkan Plus Folk Dance Party at the Universalust Unitarian Church, 240 Channing Way, San Rafael from 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. Admission is $8.00. Bring snacks to share.

march 29 (Sunday): Vadalma and Disciples of Markos play Hungarian and Rebetika for listening and dancing at Cafe Refolution, 3248 - 22nd Street, San Francisco from With Vadalma from 8:00 to 8:30 and Disciples of Markos 8:30 to 11:30 P.M.
