March 1 (Saturday): Bulgarian dance Party at FAME, 443 Broadway, San Francisco from 8:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. Admission is $25,00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. You must be at least 21 years old. For more information call Orlin at (415) 425-3877.

March 1 (Saturday): Festival Martishor, a celebration of Moldavian Culture at Oasis, 401 California Avenue, Treasure Island, San Francisco at Noon. Admission is $35.00 and kids are free. Moldavian food, wine and dancing available.

March 2 (Sunday): Celebrate Bulgarian National Day with Ivaylo Giurov and Tanya Kostova at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondage, at Alemany, San Francisco from 2:00 to 10:00 P.M. March 21 (Friday): Nick Enge and Melissa will teach Inside Turns in Cross-step Waltz and Redowa and Tom Hill to teach introductory Waltz also Nick will dj waltzes and polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. March 7 (Friday): Stanford International Dancers present a Greek dance party with live music by The Plaka Band at the First Baptist Church, Event Hall, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for Students. Children are free. Schedule will include recreational and request dancing. March 14 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal present a party with music provided by Zoyres Eastern European Ferment, Radio Istanbul and Fanfare Zambaleta at the Starry Plough, 3101 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley with the doors opening at 8:00 P.M. and the music starts at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $8.00 to $12.00 on a sliding scale.

March 14 (Friday): Nick Enge will teach Introductory Rotary Waltz and Kerry set dances and Tom Hill to teach introductory Waltz also Dianne Nesom will dj waltzes and polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. March 21 (Friday): Live music by Vecernica at Changs, Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church, 417 - 31st Avenue, San Francisco from 7:00 to 11:00 P.M. There will be a potluck and refreshments.
