June 2 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a Balkan Dance event with music by Staro Vino at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. June 2 (Friday):Tom and Heather will teach Introductory Polka and Polka Pivots and Anthony will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. June 4 (Sunday): San Francisco International Arts Festival present Fanfare Sambaleta at Fort Mason Center, San Francisco. Admission is #25.00 general, $30 - $35 reserved table, and children under 18 are $12.50; students with ID and Seniors are $4.00 off. For more information contact Peter Bonos.

June 6 - 29 August (Tuesdays): All request, drop-in folk dancing hosted by Razzmatazz Folk Dance Club at Monroe Hall, 1400 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Admission is $4.00. All levels are welcome. For more information contact Marilyn Smith.

June 7 (Wednesday): Janam Band plays at Strings 6320 San Pablo Avenue, Oakland at 8:00 P.M. Admision is $15.00.

June 7 (Wednesday): Danubius Band play Eastern European ahd Hungarian music for listening and dancing at Le Bateau Ivre in Berkeley. There is no cover charge. For more information or reservations call (510) 849-1100.

June 9 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal with music by MWE, Mano Cherga and Aya and Tano at The Starry Plough, 3102 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $20.00 on a sliding scale at the door.

June 10 (Saturday): Greek folk dance workshop by Joe Graziosi and live music by Agape Mou at Live Oak Grange in Santa Cruz with the workshop from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., dinner from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.and the dance party with Agapi Mou from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. June 10 (Saturday): Inspector Gadje with Frank London perform with DJ Zeljko for Kafana Balkan at the Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street, at Van Ness, San Francisco at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $25.00 at the door.

June 10 (Saturday): Palomanians host an Ice Cream Social and All-request folk dance party, MC's by Denise Heenan, at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. June 24 (Saturday): Moveable Feet invite you to at Polish dance workshop and International Folk Dance party with Martin Frost and Lynne Tilley teaching Kujawiak Weselny od Osiecina and Lucy Chang will teach W Miom Ogrodecku at St. Bede's, 650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with warm-up dances at 6:30, the workshop at 7:00 and the party from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M.
