June 2 (Thursday): Balkan Folk Dance Party night featuring the band Staro Vino(Mark Jenkins, Gregory Jenkins, Andrew Cohen and Peter Bonos) playing Bulgarian, Macedonian and Greek music at The Mandala Folk Dance Center, St. Paul's Presebterian Church, Bowcock Hall, 1399 - 43rd Avenue, at Judah, San Francisco from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. June 3 - 19: San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival at the Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco.

June 3 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host live Balkan music by Mosaic at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00. June 3 (Friday): Taluna and Orchestra Euphonos to play music for listening and dancing at Doc's Lab, 124 Columbus Avenue, San Franc isco from 8:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is from $10.00 to $12.00.

June 3 (Friday): Asian Music Night plus Tag Team teaching of Cha Cha variations by Richard Powers and Mirage Marrou, Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, Richard Powers will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. June 4 (Saturday): Moveable Feet present a Bulgarian workshop by Gergana Panova followed by dancing to live music by Vassil and Maria Bebelekovi, the Kafana Therapy Band and requests at First Baptist Church, 305 North California Street, Palo Alto. from 3:30 to 10:30 P.M. There will be a potluck supper at 6:15 P.M.

June 7 - August 30 (Tuesdays): June 7 is beginning of Summer folk dancing with Razzmatazz Folk Dance Club at Monroe Hall, 1400 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. All request dancing at all levels. Admission is $4.00 per night. For more information contact Marilyn Smith.

June 18 (Saturday): Kanana Balkan Festival (Day 2) with Ismail Kumanovski and Inspector Gadje, Mira Bentz and Little Egypt and DJ Zeljko a Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street, at Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $20.00 to $25.00.

June 18 (Saturday): Moveable Feet hoses a workshop/party featuring dances with repeating names taught by Todd Wagner at First United Methodist Church, 625 Hamjilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 to 11:00 P.M.
