July 2 (Sunday): The Knostantinou Family will teach a Greek dance workshop, followed by a glendi at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Admission will be about $45.00 to $50.00 per person.

July 7 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a French Country Dance event with a workshop tought by Gary Breitbard, jana Aauti and Phillip Garrison music by Fete Musette Ensemble at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00. Bring snacks and beverages to share. For more information contact Owen at (650) 966-1775 or Jena Rauti at (650) 493-0693.

July 8 (Saturday): Peninsula Council Folk Dance Party at St. bede's Church Hall, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with the Annual Meeting and Election of Officers from 7:15 to 7:30 P.M. and the all-request party from 7:30 to 10:45 P.M. Admission is $9.00. This party will be MC'd byt Changs Folk Dancers, so contact Luiselle with your requests. Bring a snack to share. For more information contact Hollis.

July 14 (Friday): Richard Powers with Tracey Powers reach Paso Doble, Le One Step and French Mazurke Clandestina and Richard will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome.
