July 6 (Sunday): Medna Usta play Balkan music for listening and dancing at the Freight and Salvage, 2020 Addison Street, Berkeley at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $20.00 in advance and $22.00 at the door.

July 11 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a dance party with the music of Da! Mozhem at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00. For more information contact Owen at (650) 966-1775.

July 11 (Friday): Richard Powers and Angela Amarillas will teach Bal Musette dances including Le Java, Paso Doble, Le One Step, and alse Musette and Live music will be provided by the Baquette Quartette celebrate Bastille Day with the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. July 12 (Saturday): Dromeno Greek Ensenble play music for listening and dancing at Live Oak Grange, 1900 - 17th Avenue, Santa Cruz at 8:00 P.M. Admission is from $12.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale plus tips for the musicians. Bring snacks or refreshments to share.

July 12 (Saturday): The Palomanians host an Ice Cream Social and International Folk Dance Party, MC'd by Denise Heenan, at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with Denise teaching J. B. Milne from Scotland from 7;15 to 8:00 P.M. and an all-request party from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $7.00. Ice Cream, toppings and refreshments provided by the Palomanians. July 12 (Saturday): Folklore Camp After-Party featuring a Balkan Dance workshop by Marty Koenig and music provided by the 2014 Folklore Camp Band at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley with a dance lesson at 8:00 P.M. and the dance starts at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 general and $12.00 in advance and for students and Seniors. Advance tickets are available at the Ashkenaz Website.

July 13 (Sunday): Dromeno Greek Ensemble to play at a Mountain View House Concert at 4:00 P.M. Admission is $20.00 and $5.00 for children under 12. For more information and reservations (required) send email (preferred or call (650) 947-9669.

July 14 (Monday): CANCELLED!! Storm the Bastille!; dinner and French music and dancing with Les Campagnards with David Steinberg and special guests at Angelica's Bistro, 863 Main Street, Redwood City at 7:30 P.M. admission is $13.00 in advance and $19.00 at the door.CANCELLED!!

July 18 (Friday): Mid-East Tapestry play Arabic, Turkish, Greek, Armenian and Persian music for listening and dancing at Redwood Cafe, 8240 Old Redwood Highway, Cotati at 8:30 P.M. Admission is $7.00. For more information call (707) 795-7868.

July 18 (Friday): Richard Powers and Tracey Powers celebrate their 9th Wedding Anniversary and will teach their favorite dances including Nightclub Two-Step variatins and a bluesy traveling dance. They will also introduce the Tangurka - Tango Mazurka and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. July 20 (Sunday): Souren Baronian, Rowan Storm, Paul Ohanesian and Jim Grippo play with Edessa and Aszmara teaches Karsilamas at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley with a dance lesson at 8:99 P.M. and the concert/dance starts at 9:00 P.M. July 25 (Friday): Richard Powers and Mirage Marrou and will teach New dances for Edinburgh: Sicilian Circle and the Palais Glide and Clandestine Mazurka (Tango Mazurka) Part Two and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, Richard will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. July 30 (Wednesday); Ellis Island Old World Folk Band play Klezmer, Eastern European and other music for listening and dancing at Le Bateau Ivre, 2629 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley with dinner seating beginning at 5:00 P.M. and the music goes from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
