January 8 (Thursday): Sababanights Israeli dancers re-open.

January 9 (Friday): International Folk Dance Party with all-request dancing in two rooms, presented  by Marcel Vinokur at Burgess Recreation Center, 700 Alma Street, Menlo Park from 8:00 P.M. to Midnight.  Admission is $7.00 for adults and $1.00 for teens.  For more information contact Marcel Vinokur at marcel.vinokur@nasa.gov.

January 10 (Saturday): Fifth Annual Cretan Crab Feed Glendi with live Cretan music for dancing at the Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church Fellowship Hall, 1110 Highland Drive, Novato with no=host reception at 5:30 P.M., dinner at 6:30 P.M. and dancing starting about 9:00 P.M.  Cost is $55.00 per person, $25.00 for children 6-14 and dancing only after dinner is $25.00.  For more information and reservations contact Tony Kosmas (415) 209-0096 or Vasilis Fourakis (415) 924-5686 or vfourakis@aol.com .

January 10 (Saturday): Folk Dance Federation Heritage Festival at the United Community Church, Arroyo and Elm Streets in San Carlos from 1:30 to 4:30 P.M. January 25 (Sunday): Annual Croatian Sveti Vlaho Festa  at the Nativity Church Parish Hall, 240 Fell Street, San Franicsco at Noon.  Music provided by John Morovich from Seattle.  Entertainment, raffle, lunch and more.  Admission and Lunch is $15.00 for adults, $5.00 for youth (13-18) and children under 13 are free.  Admission only is $5.00 for Adults, and under 18 are free. Dessert donations are needed and welcome.
