February 1 (Thursday): Ripni Kalinke host a dance workshop with Prof. Anton Andonov at St. Francis Church, 1205 Pine Avenue, San Jose from 7:30 to 10:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 drop-in.

February 2 (Friday): Stanford Folk Dancers host a Bulgarian dance workshop by Prof. Anton Andonov at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1095 Cloud Avenue, Menlo Park from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00 general and $6.00 for students. Snacks and drinks are welcome. For more information call Owen at (650) 966-1775.

February 2 (Friday): Donna Frankel will teach line dances and Diane Neesom will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto with the classes starting at 7:15 P.M. and the dancing is from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $10.00 for the dance only and $10.00 for students. NOTE CHANGE IN PRICES AND TIME. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. February 3 (Saturday): Inspector Gadje, with Ismail Lumanovski, play and Zeljko DJ's for Kafana Balkan at the Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street, San Francisco at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $20.00.

February 4 (Sunday): Joe Graziosi to teach Pontic dances at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley from 1:30 to 5:00 P.M. Admission is $25.00. For more information and to RSVP (requested) contact Caroline Simmmonds.

February 5 (Monday): GreekFeet hosts a Pontic dance workshop by Joe Graziosi at Joe Goode Annex, Project Artaud, 401 Alabama Street, at 17th, San Franciso from 7:00 to 9:30 P.M. For more information contact Caroline Simmmonds.

February 7 (Wednesday): Cabrillo Folk Dancers host a folk dance party with music from the Balkans and Eastern Europe by Taraf de Akacfa at Park Hall, Ben Lomond. For more informatin contact Judy Donaldson.

February 10 (Sauturday): The Peninsula Folk Dance Council host a Valentine's Day folk dance party with Yale and Marsha Rosenblatt teaching Israeli dance: Simcha G'dola followed by an all-request dance party emcee'd by Hollis and Lou Radin at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with the teaching from 7:30 to 8:00 P.M. and the dancing from 8:00 to 10:30 P.M. February 11 (Sunday): The Berkeley Folk Dancers present the Festival of the Oaks at Live Oak Park Community Center, 1301 Shattuck Avenue, at Berryman, Berkeley with a Balkan dance institute by Michael Ginsburg from 9:30 A.M. to Noon and dancing from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. February 18 (Sunday): San Francisco Tamburitza Festival at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco at 12:00 P.M.

February 18 (Sunday): Balkan Sundays resume at Revolutin Cafe, 3248 - 22nd Street, San Francisco from 8:30 to 11:30 P.M. There is no cover charge.

February 19 (Monday): "Dances with Grapevines" theme party hosted by Movable Feet Dance Club with Katherine Abbott and Cindy and Craig Blackstone at First Baptist Church, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. Admission is free. For more information contact Lucy Chang.
