February 5 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host Bulgarian Village Music playing live Bulgarian dances for Balkanton 255 at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. February 5 (Friday): Nick Enge and Melissa Carville will teach the Tango Essentials and Tango Endings, Tom hill will teach Introductory Waltz, also, Nick will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. February 6 (Saturday): Kafana Balkan featuring the music of Inspector Gadje Balkan Brass Band and Dj Zeljko at Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street, San Francisco at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $20.00.

February 13 (Saturday): International Folk Dance Party at St. Bede's Church, Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with John Micoara teaching Sillsteski Opas (Yves Moreau) and Svernjasko Pajdusko (Jaap Leegwater) from 7:15 to 8:00 P.M. and an all request party MC's by Hollis and Lon Radin from 8:00 to 10:45 P.M. February 13 & 14 (Saturday & Sunday): Tamburitza Festival and the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco with a welcome dance at 7:30 P.M. Saturday and Concert, Kolos, Sing-A-Long from Noon to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday. Tamburalski Sastav Ponoc is the featured band (amongst others). Admission is $15.00 or $12.00 in advance. February 20 (Saturday): Fanfare Zambaleta play music for listening and dancing at the Ivy Room in Albany.

February 21 (Sunday): Festival of the Oaks at Live Oak Park Community Center, 1301 Shattuck Avenue, at Berryman, Berkeley from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Andre Montsion will teach French Candaian, Greek, Romanian and Serbian dances from 9:30 A.M. to Noon, Lunch is from Noon to 1:00 P.M. and Folk dancing from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.
