February 1 (Friday): Brass Menazeri's Ultimate Balkan Bash (their last show ever) with a DJ set by eO and special guests at New Parish, 579 - 18th Street, Oakland. Admission is $15.00 at the door and $10.00 in advance. For more information contact Peter Jaques.

February 1 (Friday): Ari Levitt partnered with Jane Xavier Barnes to teach Night Club 2-Step and Fusion Waltz and Tom Hill to teach introductory Waltz also Ari will dj waltzes and polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. February 2 (Saturday): Kafana Balkan presents music for listening and dancing by Inspectory Gadje, bellydancers Jill Parker and the Foxglove Sweetheart, and DJ Jeljko at Rickshaw Stop, 155 Fell Street, at Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco. admission is $15.00.

February 3 (Sunday): Turkish Black Sea dance workshop taught by Arcan Yeter at Halanda Dance Studio, 1062 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose from 3:00 to 4:30 P.M. February 4 (Monday): Christos Papakostas to teach a Greek dance workshop for GreekFeet at Presidio Performing Arts Center, Arguello, at Moraga, Presidio of San Francisco from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. Admission is $15.00. For more information contact Mary Ann Karonis.

February 9 (Saturday): Balkan Band Jam, bring your music and instruments to Live Oak Grange, Santa Rosa from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is free, but make a donation to pay the rent and bring some finger food and drinks to share. For more information contact Randall Kirschmann or Judy Donaldson.

February 7 (Thursday): Christos Papakostas to teach a Greek dance workshop for the Stanford International Folk Dancers.

February 15 (Friday): Leslie Gordon teaches Argentine Tango including Flirting, and Tom Hill to teach introductory Waltz also John Bauer will dj waltzes and polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. February 16 & 17 (Saturday & Sunday): San Francisco Tamburica Festival with music for dancing provided by T-Rroma, Chubritza, Sidro, St. Anthony's Tamburica Orchestra, Slavonian Traveling Band with Lilla Serlegi, Muhamed Kocan, Novi Stari Tamburasi, Koraci and a performance by Koraci Croatian Dance Ensemble and John Morovich will teach Klapa singing and kolo dancing at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco with dancing on Saturday starting at 7:30 P.M. and dancing, concert and sing-a-long on Sunday from Noon to 8:00 P.M. February 20 (Wednesday): Greek Dance Workshop with Vasili Serbezis, well-known Sarakatsani singer and Dance specialist from Eastern Thrace, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension, Main Hall, 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. February 21 (Thursday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal present a party with music provided by Mano Cherga, Balkalicious Fire Drive and Safiya at the Starry Plough, 3101 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley with the doors opening at 8:00 P.M. and the music starts at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $8.00 to $12.00 on a sliding scale.

Februay 23 (Saturday): Da! Mozhem play Balkan music for the Menlo Park Folk Dancers at Arrillaga Family Recreation Center, 700 Alma Street, Menlo Park at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $9.00 for adults and $3.00 for teens. For more information contact Marcel at (650) 327-0759.
