February 3 (Friday): Hector Bezanis, Denna Bjornlie and friends play live music for dancing for the Stanford International Folk Dancers at the First Baptist Church, Event Hall, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Children are free.

February 8 (Wednesday): A revival of 1970's style Berkeley folk dancing to recorded music, at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley from 7:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $7.00. February 11 (Saturday): Peninsula Council Folk Dance Party featuring a Free advanced Balkan dance workshop by John Nicorara teaching the Romaninan dance Schioapa from 7:15 to 8:00 P.M. After that, there will be an all-request party MC'ed by Lucy Chang from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. This event will be at St. Bede's Church Hall, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park. February 11 (Saturday): Twenty-seventh Jewish Music Festival begins with the Isle of Klezbos band playing music for dances led by Bruce Bierman at the JCC East Bay, 1414 Walnut Street, Berkeley at 8:00 P.M. February 17 (Friday): San Francisco Tam Fest featuring the Jerry Grcevich Orchestra and the Mornci Tamburitza Orchestra at the Croatian American Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco at 7:30 P.M.
February 18 - 20 (Saturday - Monday): KlezCalifornia Yiddish Culture Festival With free workshops on Saturday from 2:00 to 5:15 P.M. and a Klez-x reunion concert followed by dancing led by Steve Weintraub at 8:00 P.M. at San Francisco Jewish Community Center, 3200 California Street, at Presidio Avenue, San Francisco. February 22 (Wednesday): Agapi Mou to play Greek, Albanian, Turkish, Armenian and Romani music for listening and dancing at Le Bateau Ivre Restaurant, 2629 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. There is no cover charge.
February 24 (Friday): Sviraci to play Bulgarian and Macedonian music for dancing for the Cabrillo Folk Dancers, Gym room 1117,Cabrillo College, Aptos at 8:00 P.M. February 25 & 26 (Saturday & Sunday): Helene Eriksen starts a nine weekend Bay Area Training Project covering several Eastern dance styles in depth and ending in 2013 in a location in San Francisco TBA.
