December 5 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host a dance party with the music of Da! Mozhem (Mosaic cancelled and will not be playing) at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. December 5 (Friday): Albany YMCA Folk Dancers will go over some of the dances taught at this yoar's Kolo Festival. For more information contact Kay James.

December 6 (Saturday): Sacred Circle Dance Fifth Annual Holiday Concert with Community Dance, featuring the Celtic Medieval musical duo Maureen Atkins at All Saint's Episcopal Church, 911 Dowling Blvd., San Leandro at 7:30 P.M. All dances are taught. The first half will be dancing folowed by an intermission and desserr then a caroling concert. Admission is $15.00. December 6 (Saturday): Palomanians Pie Party with live music by Vercenica and request dancing with DJ Denise Heenan at St. Bede's Hall, Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park from 7:30 to 10:45 P.M. Pie and Ice Cream will be served.

December 8 (Monday): Petaluma Holiday Folk Dance Party whith dancing to both live and recorded music at Herman Sons Hall, 860 Western Avenue, Petaluma from 7:00 to 9:30 P.M. For more information contact Carol Friedman at (415) 663-9512.

December 12 (Friday): Due to a staff holiday party, the Albany YMCA Folk Dance group will not meet today only.

December 12 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan BAcchanal featuring the music of Disciples of Markos, MWE, and Balkalicious Fire Drive at the Starry Plough, 3101 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale.

December 12 (Friday):Dance Libre will perform new choreographies and Nick and Melissa will teach the 12 Days of Cross-Step Waltz (new variations) and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, folowing will be DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. December 13 (Saturday): Razzmatazz Folk Dance Club's annual Christmas party at Monroe Hall,1400 W. College Avenue, Santa Rosa from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. There will be dancing to both live and recorded music. Admission is $5.00 and children are welcome and free. Bring snacks to share and tips for the musicians. December 19 (Friday): Remembering David Nadel, founder of Ashkenaz, a tribute to him and his vision at Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, at Gilman, Berkeley with Balkan Dancing from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. followed by Razon and the Rocksteadies with classic reggae adn Taraf de Locos, world music dance band. December 20 (Saturday): Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band at S.F. JCC, 3200 California Street, San Francisco from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Admission is Free.

December 25 (Thursday): Sixth Annual Saul's Deli Klezmer X-Mass Street party at Saul's. 1475 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

December 29 (Monday): Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band plays at Saul's Deli, 1473 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

December 31 (Wednesday): Moveable Feet sponsor a New Year's Eve International Folk Dance Party at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with a potluck dinner from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. and dancing from then to 12:15 A.M. Bring a dish for the potluck; drinks and utensils will be provided. Admission is $10.00. For more information contact Lucy Chang or Loui Tucker.

December 31 (Wednesday): Friday Night Waltz presents a New Year's Eve Waltz Ball at Berkeley City Club, 2315 Durant, Berkeley with a Waltz lesson by Richard Powers from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. and dancing to Bangers and Mash Band from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight.
