August 5 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host Gary Brietbard, Jena Rauti and Fete Musette playing live French Music at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. August 5 (Friday): The East bay Folk Dancers will not meet at the Veteran's Hall in Piedmont today.

August 5 (Friday): Nick Enge and Melissa Carvell will teach The Common Waltz and Introduction to Rotary Waltz also, Chris Chitwood will DJ Waltzes and Polkas Tom Hill will teach beginning Waltz at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. August 6 (Saturday): Katherine Abbott will teach two Turkish dances and Lucy Chang will MC the dance party at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Samd Hill Road. Menlo Park at 7:15 P.M. Admission is $9.00.
