April 6 (Friday): A night of Aegean music and dance with Aya and Jenny at Cafe Aegean, 1132 Masonic Avenue, Albany from 7:00 to 9:45 P.M. BYOB and snacks. Email or PM Aya Safiya or Jenny Luna to receive the exace address and/RSVP/purchase advance tickets.

April 6 (Friday): Stanford Folk Dancers host a Balkan dance party with music by Da! Mozhem band at Alll Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverly Street, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $12.00 general and $6.00 for students. Snacks and drinks plus tips for the musicians are welcome. For more information call Owen at (650) 966-1775.

April 6 (Friday): Richard Powers and Tracey will teach Lego harry Potter Game Waltz, Tokyo Mazurka and Mass Effect Citadel Tango and he will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto with the classes starting at 7:15 P.M. and the dancing is from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $10.00 for the dance only and $10.00 for students. NOTE CHANGE IN PRICES AND TIME. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. April 8 (Sunday): Sacred Circle Dancing at Hillside Community Chuch, 1422 Navellier Street, El Cerrito with a potluck dinner from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. and dancing from 7:30 to 9:00 P.M. Admission is $5.00 to $10.00 on a sliding scale. For more information contact Maureen Atkins.

April 9 (Monday): GreekFeet host a Greek Dance Party with music by Agapi Mou at Joe Goode Annex Project Artaud, 401 Alabama Street, at 17th Street. San Francisco from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. Admission is $10.00. Bring some snacks to share. For more information contact Maryann Karonis.

April 13 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal with music by Balkalicious Fire Drive, Alaturca Connection and Balkan Ensemble Meraklii with Rumen Sali Shopov at The Starry Plough, 3102 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $20.00 on a sliding scale at the door.

April 13 (Friday): Ken will teach Salsa Rueda and Deanna will DJ waltz and polka dancing at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto with the classes starting at 7:15 P.M. and the dancing is from 9:00 P.M. to Midnight. April 14 (Saturday): Peninsula Folkdance Council host a Spring Party at St. bede's Episcopal Church Hall 2650 Samd Hill Road, Menlo Park with Loui Tucker teaching a Pre-party Workshop from 7:15 to 8:30 P.M. followed by an All-request party with Jim Emdy from 8:00 to 10:30 P.M. April 15 (Sunday): Edessa to play for Balkan Sundays at Revolution Cafe, 3248 - 22nd Street, San Francisco from 8:30 to 11:30 P.M.

April 19 (Thursday): First day of Israeli Folk Dance Thursday evening series (goes throuth May 31) at Osher Jewish Community Center from 1:30 to 4:00 P.M. Cost is $35.00 for the six-week session or $9.00 Drop-in. For more infomation click or call Carol Friedman at (415) 863-9512>

April 22 (Sunday): Moveable Feet host a English/scottish country dance afternoon dance workshop with Bruce Hamilton and Alan Twhigg and music provided by Deby Benton Grosjean and Lyle Ramshaw at St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with the workshop from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M., the potluck from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. and the dance party from 7;00 to 8:30 P.M.. April 23 (Monday): Balkan night at the Starlight Salon at Fluxus Bar at 8:00 P.M.

April 29 (Sunday): Blossom Festival at City College of San Francisco, Studio 301, Welness Center, 50 Phelan Avenue, San Francisco from 12:30 to 5:00 P.M. Easy beginner dances will be taught by jeanne Hughes and Sophia Hosmer-Hughes. There will also be a Dance Federation Assembly Neeting at 10:30 A.M. Admission is free.
