April 1 (Friday): The Stanford International Folk Dancers host Da! Mozhem, with the Nema Problema Chorale, to play Balkan music for dancing at the First Baptist Church, 305 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00. For more information contact Owen at (650) 966-1775.

April 3 (Friday): Richard Powers and JJ Liu will teach an Asian Music Night with Asian variations of Cross-Step Waltz and Tom Hill will teach Introductory Waltz also, Richard will DJ Waltzes and Polkas for the Friday Night Waltz group at First United Methodist Church, upstairs, Fellowship Hall, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto from 7:00 P.M. to Midnight. Admission is $12.00 for both classes and the dance, $8.00 for the dance only and $8.00 for students. No partner necessary. All ages welcome. April 8 (Wednesday): Old World Folk Band play Klezmer music for listening and dancing at Le Bateau Ivre, 2629 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. There is no cover charge.

April 10 (Friday): Berkeley Balkan Bacchanal with music by Ghost Note Ensemble, Veretski Pass and the Gonifs playing Klezmer music at The Starry Plough, 3102 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley at 9:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 to $15.00 on a sliding scale at the door.

April 11 (Saturday): International Folk Dance Party at St. Bede's Church, Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park with Loui Tucker teaching Netziut Acharet (an Israeli couple dance) from 7:15 to 8:00 P.M. and an all request party from 8:00 to 10:45 P.M. April 12 (Sunday): Briget Boyle album release party with Jeremiah Lockwood at Viracocha, Valencia Street, San Francisco at 8:00 P.M. Admission is $10.00 - $20.00 on a sliding scale.

April 20 (Monday): Celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Klezmer Mondays featuring the music of Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band at Saul's Delicatessan, 1475 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

April 23 (Thursday): Loui Tucker will be celebrating 35 years of teaching folk dancing at St. Michael Archangel Serbian Orthodox church, 18870 Allendale Avenue, Saratoga from 7:30 to 10:30 P.M. April 24 (Friday): Kopachka Folk Dancers present "Hardly Strictly Balkan", featuring the music of Zabava! at Strawberry Recreation Center, 118 E. Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley from 8:00 to 10:00 P.M. April 26 (Sunday): San Francisco Festival of the Mandolins featurihg many bands at the San Francisco Croatian American Culural Center, 60 onondaga, at Alemany, San Francisco with a workshop at 11:00 A.M. and the music goes from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. Admission is $15.00 or $10.00 in advance.

April 26 (Sunday): New Dancers' Festival and the Blossom Festival at City College of San Francisco, Welness Center, 50 Phelan Avenue, San Francisc with the New Dancers' Festival from 11:30 to 1:30 P.M. and the Blossom Festival is from 1;30 TO 5:00 P.M.
